Youth Patient Participation Group
You can help improve health services for young people in Purbeck
We are the Youth Patient Participation Group (YPPG). We are looking for students from Purbeck to help improve NHS Primary Care Services for young people.
We will support and help you engage with decision makers in health to identify what is and isn’t working currently so that they listen to the voices of the young people. This will make sure views are heard and acted upon in developing and improving your services.
- We have been running for over a year and have already had success
- Our group designed a survey on mental health needs which had 542 responses.
- The local health services heard what is important to you and are acting upon it
